We invite you to get involved and stay connected with what’s happening in the Anoka-Hennepin School District. Whether you’re a parent or a community member, your participation can make a meaningful impact in our schools. Here are some simple ways to get started.
7 Ways To Get Involved In The A-H School District
- Reach out to AHPA (info@ahparents.org) If you have specific concerns about something at your child’s or grandchild’s school—such as assignments, posters, or signs—you’re encouraged to share them with us via email. Teachers are also welcome to reach out with any issues they’d like addressed. Anonymity is respected.
- Email the School Board HERE and the Superintendent at Cory.Mcintyre@ahschools.us
We encourage you to reach out to the school board and superintendent with any concerns related to budgets, curriculum, district policies, or any other current issues. When board members advocate for your views, be sure to thank them for their support. - Show up to school board meetings. The full schedule and agenda items can be found on the Anoka-Hennepin school board website.
- Donate to AHPA. Your support and contributions will enable us to reach more parents and residents in the Anoka-Hennepin School District about issues that matter in PreK-12 education. Funds go towards our bi-monthly community events, school district updates for our community, and school board election information. You can donate at the paypal link above or checks may be sent to:
